CHARACTER QUESTIONS:

Talent Spec: (Tell us a little about your spec. Why did you choose specific talents over others? Be ready to answer questions or defend those choices.)

I am currently 51/0/20 - This spec is the highest dps spec for someone in Ulduar gear as stated by EJ. I chose the spec because I like being in control of all of my dps, as opposed to having it relegated to a pet. I am also geared for blood dps, as I have been working on stacking ArP.

Dual Spec: (Do you play this spec often? Do you have gear to support playing this spec in a raiding environment?)

Currently, my offspec is frost tank, I don't play it often but I am ready to step up when my guild needs another tank on the field. My gear in this spec is a mix of Ulduar, Naxx, and a few top end blues (essence of Gossamer)

Professions: (Why those professions? Can you make any craftables of note?)

My professions are mining and JC, obviously I chose JC for the raiding benefits, but along with my alt mage doing tailoring / enchanting, it provides me with a steady income.
I have most of the world drop patterns, and am working on obtaining rep patterns via the jc daily.

PVE Experience: (What bosses/instances have you cleared? Which bosses/hardmodes do you have experience on learning?)
Pre-wotlk I played a mage and cleared all vanilla content up to Sapphiron 40 man. With my dk:

10 - up to Yogg. Completed Heartbreaker. FL 2 towers, Activated Siffed (wiped at 30%) and activated IC HM.
25 - I have personally been up to Auriya. I do not have experience with 25 HM's (But I learn quickly, and have studied the strats and watched the videos on tankspot).

The reason we are leaving is because we aren't raiding right now, so I had to use a target dummy for this. This is completely unbuffed, raid buffed I am consistently 4k and above. I will also have my dmc greatness on August 3, and have most of the mats gathered for a belt of the titans. I made this character two months ago after reactivating and xferring my mage to Shattered Halls to play with friends, I took the dk to 80 in four days /played, grinded heroics to get bis pre-raid gear, earned my spot in guild raids, and have been raiding nonstop until about two weeks ago.

I will try and replace this with an actual raid parse, but we're not really raiding currently, so it's difficult.


PLAYER QUESTIONS:

Availablity: (We raid Monday- Thursday from 6-11PM. Can you make 90% of those raid times? Are you going to become "unavailble" due to school starting or month long vacations? What's your playtime like as of now?)

I take morning and afternoon classes only, so your times mirror ours pretty well, you start a half an hour earlier.

Microphone/Ventrilio: (Mics and Vent are priceless raid tools. Do you have both? Will you use both?)

I do, and I will.

Computer/Connection: (What kind of computer and internet connection do you have/utilize? Will we need to sit you on heavy AoE fights? Are you going to need to restart your router every 15 minutes?)

I am on the University network, so my ping is always sub 100 and my computer is self built and top of the line.

Please Post a Screenshot of your UI/bindings in a raid setting: (Are there any mods that you can't live without? Do you prefer a specific boss mod?)

As you can see, I am a fan of minimalism in my ui's. I couldn't live without bartender first and foremost. And I use DBM and omen.


Theorycraft for us: (Show us what you know about your spec and class. This is your chance to say something insightful about your healing, tanking or dps style that perhaps we hadn't thought about.)

Basically, I keep my diseases up constantly, and I raise my ghoul at the end of my first rotation, I time Hysteria and DRW with the raid's blood lust, and I chug a speed potion before I burn them. I know which fights to use army of the dead on, and use it responsibly. The key fight is definitely at 75% when going for heartbreaker. But I also use it at the beginning of Mim phase 2, and a few other places. I rp dump in a timely fashion, and I know the fights.

Past Guilds/Servers and Reasons for Leaving: (Are there folks there we can discretely speak to about your character/play style?)

You can ask any of the guild members that are transferring with me about my playstyle: Torethirny (our GM) - Lawlypop, Hampurse, Finistere.

Why do you want to join Disbanded?: (Why should we choose you over other applicants? What can you bring to our raid/raiding environment that we can't get from other people?)

Remaining on a pvp server is important to us, we obviously all want to stay together, and we are looking for a guild that is serious about raiding and progression. With us you would inherit our synergy, we play together constantly, and we know each other's style, in our ten man Ulduar group (which includes all five of us) we defeated General Vezax within hours of our first attempt. We would have had Yogg down had we not started recruiting heavily and filled our 25's for a short stint.

What do you enjoy most about playing WoW?: (What makes you log on everyday?)

Progression, if I wasn't raiding I would quit the game for sure. That is not to say that I don't enjoy other aspects of the game, I like having fun, I enjoy the death screams of gnomes and female night elves just as much as any other pvper does.
